Kopstad Reward Cards / Support
A little
help.
Less troubleshooting.
Back to your day.
My barcode will not scan at checkout
Open the card and tap Show at checkout. Hold your phone steady and ask the cashier to try a screen-compatible scanner.
Check the saved number and barcode format against your original card. Some laser scanners cannot read screens. Use the original card or ask the cashier to enter the number manually.
Which cards and barcodes work?
Static EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, standard Code 39, QR, PDF417 and Aztec codes are supported. UPC-A is displayed as equivalent EAN-13 with a leading zero.
Code 128, PDF417 and Aztec support printable ASCII text. QR supports Unicode. Unsupported formats or payloads are rejected rather than silently converted.
Changing codes, NFC, magnetic strips, reward balances and retailer logins are not supported. This is an independent card organiser, not a retailer service or an Apple Wallet pass generator.
How do I move my cards to another phone?
In the app's Settings, export a backup. Transfer the file securely to your new device, then choose Restore from backup.
Restoring keeps existing cards and skips duplicates. Backup files contain readable card numbers and notes, so treat them as private. Cards do not automatically synchronise between devices.
How do I allow camera access?
In your iPhone or iPad Settings, find Kopstad Reward Cards under Apps and enable Camera. Return to the app and try scanning again.
You can also import a selected photo or enter the barcode manually without using the camera.
Can I use my cards without internet?
Yes. Stored cards, barcode display and on-device scanning work offline. Moving backups through a cloud service and opening support links may need an internet connection.
How do I delete my information?
Delete an individual card from its detail screen, or delete all cards in Settings. Exported files and system backups must be managed separately wherever they are stored.
There is no app account to close and no developer-operated card database.
Are there ads or subscriptions?
The first release is a one-time paid download. All included features are available without ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases.
Where can I read the privacy policy?
Read our privacy policy for details about local storage, camera access, selected photos, backups and support requests.
